Abundant varieties of wildflowers have self-seeded, attracting bumblebees and dragonflies to this certified monarch butterfly waystation. This natural area thrives with some careful management of naturally occurring and planted species. A large fenced garden yields numerous varieties of vegetables, some of which were selected specifically for their preservation and processing qualities. Color and texture provide the theme for the perennial flower beds that surround the vegetable garden and home. Artists: Debbie Miller, Mary Apker and Leslie Cobb |
